update

After a horrendous week, ive managed to turn it around.

The beats were bad - esp in the heads up games.

Still playing mainly on virgin and some sats on pokerstars and try and qualify for some live events, with a few heads up so that i can pay for my sats through them.

Here a sweet hand from a h u game on stars :)

Great start to November - may play less now and enjoy the withdrawl :)

Virgin rakeback 30% + V Points

If anyone wants 30% rakeback at virgin, just click the banner and let me know and i'll get this sorted.
V points are worth another 4% and you can either use these for cash or for virgin atlantic miles.

45,000 miles gets you to Vegas, New York, and back. Many other destinations such as Dubia, Australia.
I currently have over 170,000.

Also, top 100 rakers get into an exclusive freeroll every month. I won the V platinum for 1000 euros this month :)

Still going good

Why is it that I feel like im playing the best poker ever?!?

Virgin have a freeroll everymonth for the top rakers - top 30 play for 2k euros ($3K), 31-60 play for 1k euros and 61-100 play for 500 euros.
I got entry to the 2k and came 1st for 1k euros :)

Played some cash 2 - sat with $2k at 10/20 NL - left with over $14k :)

Playing some good and maybe a little reckless poker but its paying off.
Time for a withdrawl :)

Is there anybody out there?

Hi All,

I know its been a while, and i dont blame you if you have stopped reading this blog as it has been a while.

To be honest , i havent had much to report on. I havent played a great deal and when i have its been pretty standard stuff.

Ive been plaing mainly H U on virgin and some higher stakes cash. Is been going quite good and my form has been good of late too.

Ive been posting some hands on pokerhand.org.

I played some 50/100 NL for the first time yesterday. I was up $4k on the day so i sat at 10/20NL and lost it all in 15 mins.

So i put $4k on 50/100 and took it to $25k - winning a $25k pot which is by far the biggest pot i have ever won.
I did have to fish for it, after i was called after my reraise all in after the flop.

The hand was pretty sick to be honest but i had outs!! (lol).

Heres a couple of hands from the session:

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1542672

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1540098 - this one is the $25k pot

I've not really been having any rough times on the poker tables recently (apart from the $4k i dropped in 20 mins) , and just hope my form can continue.

I really want to play in some of the epts, so i think i will really try and win a seat to dublin - i think that is the earliest i can go away and get away from work!!

Please let me know that there is still someone out there :)

Adios.

Money makes money

Having been playing online for the last 2 and half years, i think that it is now that the penny has dropped. The return was little and only in the last 12 to 15 months have i seen improvements but negligble return on my time playing.

Well now that i have a decent bank roll, it seems that i can drop $5k and im not even the slightest on tilt, and yet i can then have a crazy session that can make it up.
Im currently playing as zed4 on the boss network, maybe m3monster has had its day?

Been playing mainly cash, mostly $5/$10 which has been going ok. I went outside my roll when i played 25/50 and took $2k to $13k and left with $11k.
Dropped $5k and then played £2/£4 short handed and took $800 to $5500.

Current bankroll $27k.

I really want to go to vegas but dont want to buy in directly but maybe that will have to be my last resort. Maybe i should spend this week concentrating on winning my $14k package as it will include buy in hotel and spending money for flights.

I will be making another nice withdrawl today.

Need to get back in to the tourneys too, but will do when i have a bad few days on cash and need to take a break, which will no dount come.

Adios.

Losing v Tilt

Well to be honest I've hardly played since my last post.
Ive moved house and just been busy spending a lot of time working and the rest of the time with my family.
The times i have played was firstly on virgin. It wasnt good. My current run on virgin is not good. I feel like i play good yet i get beat to the tune of $2k. Maybe the last $500 was due to tilt but he $1500 prior was to some sick beats. Tried a few tourney sand just cant seem to get going.

So i went back to paradise where i had a nice run last month. In a week of playing $2.50/$5 and moving up to $5/$10 and some $10/$20 - and moving up as i increased the bankroll - and due to lack of games and very little choice of tables, and generally playing the same people i made $2k into $14k.

So why is it the virgin is tilting me by just looking at the software? I mean, i really like the software, especially the most recent one -the main reason i play there, yet im on tilt without even knowing it, yet when i play on paradise or stars im just fine.
I prob just need to take a break from virgin and stick tp playing paradise and pokerstars where Im going to try and qualify for the WSOP main event.

Adios for now.

Sick!!

Well what a sick day I have had, ending up to be positive.

Played on Virgin, and taken $100 up to $2000 mainly playing cash 1/2, 2/4 and $100 and $200 h u. Ive decided to move up and to $300 and lost 7 out of 10 that i played to some sick sick beats.
I reloaded another $2k and lost that on the cash tables to some more sik beats, one of note was holding JJ and the flop came JQQ, all the chips went in only to find the other guy had QQ -that was a $2k pot.

i reloaded $2k but on paradise, and sat on 5/10 for 3 hours and left with $8,500. Phew.
Then i entered the $6k guranteed and came first for another $2k. So all in all, im up $6k.

Sounds unreal for a small stakes player like me but i came through this well and hopefully I can aviod them swings lol.

Im going to concentrate on winning a wsop package this year as i fancy going back to vegas this year.
Tommorrow (sunday) will be a busy poker day for me, im in the $40k guaranteed on virgin, which will have some overlay im sure as the buy in is $55.

Will update next week.

GL.
