End of the STT....
Finally.... the STT challenge is over and its good news...
United and myself have decided to chop 1st prize by entering a smaller buy in comp, which is by far a fairer way of ending this challenge. Both of us were playing and results were tight between us, so for one of us to win the 1st prize of an EPT place and the other to win a video ipod was just too massive a gap.
We will be deciding where to go, Helsinki is an option as is an event at the WSOP in Vegas in July.
Personally as I've already been to Vegas, I would like to go to Helsinki or somewhere close to home, as I reckon I'll be able to win a seat to the main event anyway. Vegas is a place you really cant get bored of, but when you have been there once, and you know you are likely to go there again, its good to try and get to places you are probabaly not likely to go to.
It was a tough STT challenge - I always felt like it was going to be tight and all credit to united - he took me all the way. He was like a machine - always playing and I always felt like i had to catch up at the times when he was not playing - which was usually through the night and at weekends.
Its good to know that I have at least 2 big tourneys to play in come 2007.
I feel a bit load off my shoulders and am happy now as I feel i can get my 'game back'.
I played a little cash last night and was im amazing form - bought in for $100 and played for 15 minutes on $1/2 to show a healthy $200 profit - happy days!!
