Bad beat of the week
I played in the Heads up mtt a couple of days ago. Buy in is £10+1 so no real shakes if i lose - but still a nice $300 prize.
Down to last 16 and we both have starting chips of 12,000.
I have AK. so i raise 4 times the big blind.
He calls.
Flop AKx
I raise to 3 times the pot. He thinks about it and goes all in.
He shows his hand and its my AK v his A3
Turn 3
River 3.
Ouch....

Why do these beats only always seem to happen in heads up games???
I liked my aces being cracked by 4 2 off, who calls with 4 2 off... a psychic obviously..

I have K5, the flop is KK5. I check.
The turn is A. I raise. He reraises.
I reraise. He goes all-in.
The river is an A.
He had A4!!!

Very ul mate - i dont know how some people play at times - i mean bluffing is one thing but to raise and then reraise??
Im sure we have all had suppose disgusting experience of it..
